Board of Directors
Shari Warner

Shari N. Warner, JD, LMFT

Founder and Exec. Dir.

Shari is an accomplished professional with an extensive background as a practicing attorney. Currently, she serves as the Owner and Clinical Director of Serendipity Counseling and Consulting, LLC, a highly regarded group mental health practice located in Tamarac, Florida.

In addition to her work at Serendipity, she is the Founder and Clinical Director of Serendipity Women’s Mental Wellness Center, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers mental health services to women and girls in Florida who are uninsured and struggling to access affordable services.
Shari’s innovative approach to mental health care has resulted in the creation of CaribbeanTherapists.com, an online directory connecting Caribbean people with mental health providers from similar backgrounds. Her contributions to the mental health industry remain invaluable, and she continues to demonstrate unwavering dedication to helping individuals and communities access the support they need.

Steven Warner

Steven A. Warner

Director

Steven is a highly experienced and respected radio personality, having spent over 20 years in the industry in South Florida. Known by his popular on-air name, “Sir Rockwell”, he is the host of the region’s most successful Caribbean-formatted online radio show.

In addition to his radio work, Steve serves as CEO of RDB Entertainment Group, the parent company of the widely acclaimed online radio station, RockDaBox.net. Steve’s highly popular and syndicated “Wake Up & Live” show runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 11am. As an industry leader, he also served on the Advisory Board for the Broadcast Department at City College in Fort Lauderdale, where he frequently guest lectured on the subject of online broadcasting. Steve’s broad experience also encompasses hospitality and restaurant management, as well as corporate event planning, production and management.

Tennille Palmer

Tennille R. Palmer

Director

Tennille comes to us from the Culinary Industry where she is formally trained as a Pastry Chef. Tennille currently works in management with a major restaurant supply distributor while maintaining her skills as a baker and cake maker for private clients.

Tennille is mother of 2 and in her off time is a “Dance Mom” for her daughter who competes. We welcome Tennille to the Board and look forward to her contributions.

Shari Warner

Clinical Director

Shari, the CEO, and Clinical Director of Serendipity Counseling and Consulting, LLC is a former litigation attorney who followed her passion for helping others and established her own mental health practice.

Since June 2016, Shari’s practice has been dedicated to assisting women overcome issues of insecurity, low self-esteem, and lack of self-confidence. In May 2020, Shari founded Serendipity Women’s Mental Wellness Center, Inc. to cater to the rising demand for mental health services for women unable to afford such services. With the Center, Shari aspires to create a community of women and girls who are better able to manage their mental, emotional, and behavioral wellness.

Maureen Johnson LMHC

Maureen Johnson, LMHC-QS

Lead Therapist

Maureen is a licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of experience in the field. She is highly educated, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Hunter College and her Master of Arts degree in psychology at Long Island University in New York. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Nova Southeastern University.

Maureen is not only a licensed mental health counselor but also a certified parent educator and a certified trainer for trauma-informed care. Her experience spans several areas of mental health treatment, including dependency, community agency, and private practice. Throughout her career, she has worked in various capacities, including as an in-home therapist for children with mental health challenges and those diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder. Maureen’s rich experience also includes working on a crisis hotline.

Malika Pollard

Malika Pollard, RMFTI

Clinical Therapist

Malika approaches therapy with deep empathy, reassurance, and genuine care for the whole person and the systems they live within. With a background in Couples and Family Therapy, she specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate emotional challenges, strengthen connections, and restore balance during seasons of change.

She brings a calm, grounding presence into the therapy space, creating an environment where clients can slow down, feel safe, and speak openly. Her work is rooted in understanding relational patterns, improving communication, and helping clients feel more secure within themselves and with one another. Whether clients are working through conflict, rebuilding trust, or seeking clarity around their role in a family or relationship, Malika meets them with compassion, patience, and respect.

Zakirah Archable

Zakirah Archable, MFT Student Intern

Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (Practicum Student)

Zakirah is a student intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program at Capella University. My approach is rooted in collaborative therapy, where I work alongside clients to identify strengths, navigate challenges, and develop healthy, meaningful solutions. I believe in a holistic approach to mental wellness, recognizing the connection between emotional, relational, physical, and personal well-being. I work with individuals and couples, providing a supportive and compassionate environment that fosters growth, resilience, and positive change.

Mona Singhal, MFT Student Intern

Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (Practicum Student)

Mona is a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Syracuse University.  She is passionate about helping women, couples, and families navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety and parenting stress. Mona approaches therapy through a systemic and relational lens, recognizing that our relationships, family experiences, and broader social contexts shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others.
Before entering the mental health field, Mona spent more than a decade working in education as a teacher, school leader, field supervisor and parent consultant. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a certification in Special Education from Fordham University. Her extensive experience supporting children, parents, and educators provides a unique foundation for her clinical work, particularly with families navigating parenting, developmental transitions, and changing family dynamics. Mona strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
 
When she’s not working or studying, Mona enjoys spending time with her husband and son, practicing yoga, reading, and exploring South Florida with her family.
